Started the day with a trip to Causeway Point for breakfast — soft boiled egg with kaya butter toast and milo kosong. Simple but perfect.
Since we had such a late breakfast, lunch was just dou suan with you tiao. That combo just hits different, especially on a lazy afternoon.
Around 4pm, decided to make my own oat wraps. This time I added milled flax seed to the batch and they turned out just as good as before. For dinner, wrapped them up with sardine and salmon mayo, threw some steamed broccoli on the side. Not bad for a homemade meal.
Also picked up lemons at Causeway Point for making turmeric lemon ginger drinks — been meaning to do that for a while. Did procrastinate on making protein bars and ended up napping instead, but sometimes you just need the rest.
